Carboplatin is a widely used anticancer drug and like most chemotherapy it can cause mucositis, diarrhea, bloating and weight loss in almost most patient this effect not relate to systemic effect only but also carboplatin increase the abundance of prevotella copri in the gut which positively correlated with intestinal mucositis.
